“Advancement IT” is a broad term because it encompasses the work of eight truly unique teams – Analytics & Reporting, Application Support, Client Services, Constituent Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Technology Support, Applications and Integrations, and Infrastructure and Security.
We spend our time managing the Giving and Alumni Information Link (GAIL), the UGA Foundation Financial system (FAME), providing training and consulting, producing custom data reports and extracts, developing custom applications and integrations around DAR needs, building data visualizations, offering business and data analytics, providing mailing lists, assisting with communication efforts, and maintaining more than 1,000,000 records for every constituent, donor, alumnus, prospect, corporation, foundation and supporter with whom you connect. Meanwhile, we’re also managing websites, web farms, networks, phones, copiers, printers, endpoints, user access rights, audio/video, enterprise storage and services, and keeping hardware and software up to date, all while ensuring security and compliance remain a priority for you and DAR.
