Development Team Meetings
During DAR’s quarterly Development Meetings, the fundraising personnel in the division discuss the state of UGA’s development operation, recent team accomplishments, news from across campus and how best to continue helping students and empowering UGA.

Town Hall Meetings
Twice per year, all members of the division are invited to hear updates from leadership and their peers, both in person or on Zoom. Annual Level Up and Academic Achievement awards are presented during these meetings.

Years of Service Awards
Each year, DAR recognizes staff members who have 5, 10, 20, and 30 years of continuous service to UGA. Those celebrating these milestones in that fiscal year are celebrated and presented with a plaque for their desk. Invitations are emailed to staff being recognized as well as their direct supervisors.

End-of-Year Celebration
Following the conclusion of each fiscal year, all members of the division are invited to celebrate the hard work that is driving fundraising, alumni engagement and career development at UGA. Registration emails are sent to staff.

DAR 101
Twice per year, DAR invites new hires from the previous 6 months to participate in a day-long introduction to DAR life. Attendees will meet leaders from across the division and learn more about how their role fits into the bigger picture.

Monthly Dashboard Deep-Dives
As part of DAR’s ongoing commitment to enhancing data accessibility and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, these informal, drop-in workshops seek to ensure all staff feel equipped and confident in leveraging the tools at our disposal. By making data more accessible, we can continue to make informed, strategic decisions that drive our success forward. Whether you want to troubleshoot specific challenges, explore new features, or simply enhance your confidence in navigating dashboards and reports, these sessions are for you. Lunch is not provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
