Associate Director of Academic Integration, UGA Career Center
Associate Director of Career Accelerators, UGA Career Center
Reporting to the Director of Career Education, this role leads program design, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. The Associate Director works closely with Employer Relations, the UGA Mentor Program, and Academic Integration to embed the accelerators within the broader career ecosystem, while guiding staff and partners in delivering high-impact, cohort-based experiences. It provides strategic leadership for the Career Accelerator Initiative, ensuring it is scalable, data-informed, and aligned with institutional priorities for student success and post-graduate outcomes.
Communications Coordinator
Reporting to the Communications Director, the Communications Coordinator develops and implements marketing, advertising, and public relations plans for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR), specifically working closely with 2-6 offices (units) within the division. A large part of this position’s responsibilities include setting and guiding the marketing strategy in partnership with the unit and division leadership, as well as managing the on-deadline execution of communications tactics such as websites, print materials, solicitation campaigns, engagement initiatives, event support and more. This position helps the DAR Communications (DARCOMM) team identify opportunities for better division-wide collaboration and prioritization of projects based on the division’s strategic plan.
Creative Design Specialist
Event Manager, Office of Special Events
The individual in this position reports to, and will work in coordination with, the Executive Director of Special Events. Specifically, the individual will strategically develop, structure, and implement special University functions and events from pre- through post-planning. Developing and managing event budgets is required. The position requires the individual to coordinate and oversee the work of subordinates involved in event planning, such as food services, security, entertainment, etc. The individual must serve as a liaison between the Office of Special Events, University Administration, and other departments to establish an efficient channel of communications during all stages of event implementation. The performance of this position impacts relationships between UGA, event attendees, and donors of the University.
Financial Analyst, UGA Foundation
As part of the UGA Foundation’s Financial Accounting and Reporting team, this position is responsible for financial reporting on subsets of data to enhance management’s oversight of financial information. This position works with the UGA Foundation operating budget, and other unrestricted resources, including periodic reporting, projections, budget development and financial analysis for clear and concise reporting to management. Financial reports should clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to the reader(s). This position provides interim assurance and reconciliation reports to management. This position will assist the Associate Director in managing two study-away properties, providing financial analysis to leadership for decision making. All job duties support the trust and treasury functions of the UGA Foundation.

The Regional Development team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends to raise major gifts for the University of Georgia. The Regional Directors of Development build a culture of philanthropy in regions across the country while strengthening affinity for the University. Through traveling to various territories, Regional Directors provide strategic direction and leadership for UGA’s alumni and friends as they make philanthropic and volunteer decisions across the university.

College of Pharmacy - Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations
This position is based in the College of Pharmacy and reports to the Senior Director of Development. The position is responsible for the coordination, growth, and success of the College’s annual giving and engagement programs. Its purpose is to build meaningful relationships between alumni, donors, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the College to lead to philanthropic support. The position will build a culture of philanthropy through engagement that establishes a pipeline of donors for today and the future. This position will carry a portfolio focused on leadership annual giving ($1,500-$50,000). The position is expected to meet and/or exceed pre-set metrics that are established by the Senior Director of Development and the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. Those metrics include meetings with prospective donors, solicitations with emphasis on annual giving, gifts closed, and overall dollars raised. Metrics are evaluated and adjusted annually, and are done in collaboration with the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. Position will complete all necessary preparation and follow-up for each meeting and event, prepare persuasive engagement and annual giving materials, and document interactions in the “GAIL” (Giving and Alumni Information Link) alumni/donor database, by the end of each calendar month. The position will manage the College of Pharmacy Alumni Board, coordinate alumni events, and oversee alumni campus visit experiences that connect alumni with faculty, students, and leadership. The position will work collaboratively with a wide variety of constituents and have an established track record in building meaningful relationships, coupled with the ability to increase alumni engagement, strengthen participation, and advance annual giving objectives.
College of Pharmacy - Assistant Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships
This position is based in the College of Pharmacy and reports to the Senior Director of Development & Alumni Relations. The position is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of Pharmacy prospects in support of the College’s priorities. This position will include individuals, corporations, industry, and private foundations. The position is expected to meet and/or exceed pre-set metrics that are established by the Senior Director of Development and the division of Development & Alumni Relations. Those metrics include meetings with prospective and current donors; initial meetings with prospective donors; solicitations with emphasis on major gifts $50,000 and above); gifts closed and overall dollars raised. Metrics are evaluated and adjusted annually, and are done in collaboration with the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. The individual will complete all necessary preparation and follow-up for each meeting, prepare compelling major gift proposals, and document interactions in the “GAIL” (Giving and Alumni Information Link) alumni/donor database, within a week of the visit. The position will work collaboratively with a wide variety of constituents and have an established track record in building meaningful relationships, coupled with the ability to facilitate and close major gifts. The Assistant Director will be passionate about fundraising as well as building a strong, engaged community of donors.
Franklin College of Arts & Sciences - Assistant Director of Development
The Assistant Director of Development serves as a frontline fundraiser for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and is responsible for raising financial support for college-wide priorities as well as priorities across departments and programs within the College. Through frequent travel and in-person meetings, the Assistant Director of Development will qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual prospects and donors in support of Franklin College, with a focus on securing gifts in the $1,500–$50,000 range.
The Assistant Director of Development will also assist with the identification and referral of new major gift prospects capable of making gifts of $50,000 or more, working in collaboration with Franklin development leadership. When appropriate, participation in major gift solicitations will be encouraged as part of broader fundraising strategies.
This position will help plan and execute philanthropic strategy for the Division of Biological Sciences, the Division of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, and other areas or geographic territories as assigned. The Assistant Director of Development will work closely with faculty, staff, and development colleagues to align donor interests with departmental priorities and philanthropic opportunities.
