Lauren Cook joined the Office of Alumni Relations in May 2015. She serves as the director of alumni programs, leading the office’s programming strategy, overseeing student and chapter engagement activities, and guiding the planning of several key events, including Founders Day, Dawg Trot and the Alumni Awards Luncheon. Prior to joining the team, Lauren worked in the Office of Special Events and served as the Event Coordinator for Georgia Museum of Art.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Lauren followed her older sister to UGA for college and never looked back. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history, an MHP in historic preservation and a graduate certificate in management of nonprofit organizations.
